Rachel Virginia Hester (@rachel_virginia) is a tender-hearted Afro-Latinx writer, faith-rooted activist, and amateur musician studying Peace/Conflict Studies and Women/Gender Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Rachel is passionate about feminism, children’s books, pushing the church toward intersectional justice work, and reading scripture in life-giving ways. When Rachel isn’t studying, she can be found writing for her blog, The Generous Pine, or growing food at the local community garden.
